Loggā is a hardware-enabled data platform that makes farms more autonomous, more sustainable, and more productive by using data insight to optimize energy consumption (water, electricity) and reduce wastage of resources, including labor. Loggā was built to simplify the entire precision farming process and make it affordable for farms to become more autonomous. Our platform provides easy to digest data visualization, optimizes water consumption, optimizes energy consumption, reduces staff load and human error, and increases crop yields and quality, all in one single system.

Hardware & Software
METRICS
Our devices use various sensors to independently and autonomously monitor data such as humidity, temperature, VPD, light, soil moisture, radiation, as well as movement, vibration, title and interactions with designated areas and/or workers.
GATEWAYS
Our control units act as gateways connected to WiFi or GSM networks in order to collect data recorded by the data logger devices. Gateways can be powered by standard sockets or by solar panels, and can work as a mesh to reach connectivity in remote areas.
HEATMAPS
Loggā has a unique concept of data maps to visualize data from various metrics in the form of a heatmap allowing to see the movement of various data such as temperature or humidity and understand the flows and time cycles for key data indicators.

Water & Energy Consumption
By 2050, the global population will reach 10 Billion people. Food security will then become a real concern as 56% more food will be needed to feed 10 Billion people, and this must be acheived without using more land, and while lowering emissions. Sustainable farming is seen as a great potential solution, but it still faces big challenges.
Water Scarcity: Demand for water is very high in Agriculture (70% of the world's accessible freshwater) and limiting water usage is challenging because some 60% of accessible water is wasted due to leaky irrigation systems, inefficient application methods, manual control of irrigation.
High Energy Consumption: Both an environmental and economic challenge, farms, especially Indoor farms, heavily rely on electricity, and alternative renewable energy sources are not always available or ready for market.
High reliance on Technology Farms rely heavily on technology to ensure the smooth operation of critical systems, such as temperature, lighting, irrigation, and humidity, which makes them susceptible to unpredicted malfunctions and glitches, and many do not have proper equipment monitoring in place that can alert and enable fast recovery, resulting in catastrophic consequences for crop yields.
